The Illinois State University Police Department provides a number of various crime prevention programs. The ISU Police department strives to be proactive and therefore, seeks to provide programs and training in crime prevention topics that will assist individuals to make informed decisions regarding there safety and the safety of the community. We believe that the safety and prevention of crime is a shared responsibility between the police and every member of the community. The police need every community member's assistance in keeping the campus safe, by being those extra eyes and ears. There are not enough police to be everywhere, so we encourage individuals to report crime or suspicious activity to the police.
